If you want to jump into the new KnoWay Out missions in GTA Online, it all starts in a pretty low-key way with a strange phone call at an unassuming gas station. When you arrive at the gas station, don't expect a big mission circle right away. Instead, listen for a ringing payphone. It's usually near the edge of the forecourt or along the side of the building. Walk up to it and you'll get the prompt to answer. Picking up the phone triggers a short conversation with Avi, where he explains who he is and what he's trying to accomplish with KnoWay.

That first call doesn't launch a full mission on the spot. What it actually does is unlock a series of payphones tied to Avi across the map. Afterward, more "A" icons will appear, and each one starts the next step in the KnoWay Out storyline. The first proper mission is called "Negative Press," and it serves as a soft introduction, focusing on sabotaging KnoWay vehicles and systems before things ramp up later.

It's a good idea to set yourself up before answering that initial phone. Playing in an invite-only or friends-only session can make the experience smoother, especially if you want to hear all the dialogue and take your time without other players interfering.
